Executive Assistant

Herr Foods seeks an Executive Assistant to serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. This person will also be responsible for promoting the corporate image by representing the president internally and externally and publishing the corporate newsletter.

The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven and community oriented. The ideal Executive Assistant candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 10 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives, preferably in small to mid-size organization and the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations. Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities are a must.

District Manager

Herr is looking to fill a District Manager position to coach an assigned team of route salespeople, using key principles to achieve their route goals to align with Corporate sales and profit goals. Step-up District Managers are expected to execute advance planning to assure all routes are covered, including running routes themselves when necessary.

The District Manager candidate should have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least two years experience in route sales with Herr Foods or two years managerial experience in a DSD company and have basic math, languguage, computer and reasoning skills.

Production Planner/Scheduler

Herr Foods seeks a Production Planner to prioritize, plan, and schedule chip production for three shifts according to all sales and production needs. This will include analysis and forecasting according to previous seasonal averages and trends, as well as working accordingly with made-to-order sales orders and a working knowledge of SQF (Safe Quality Food), HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points), Factory MES, and One Plan scheduling module.

The Production Planner candidate should have an Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college, preferably related to Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering and four or more years of related experience and/or training. Basic math, language, computer and reasoning skills as is the Smith Driving Program Certification are required for this position.
