Here are the events scheduled today and Friday in Chester County Datebook:

The County Commissioners hold their monthly meeting beginning at 10:00 AM.

On Thursday, the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce partners with SCORE of Chester & Delaware County to host a seminar focused on helping business owners maximize their return on their marketing investments.

Also on Thursday, the Chester County Planning Commission holds a public meeting to introduce the Chester Valley Trail Extension study at the West Whiteland Township Building in Exton. An open house begins at 6:30pm with a formal presentation at 7:30pm followed by an interactive session where attendees will be encouraged to share their ideas, questions, comments and suggestions.

At noon on Friday, the Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) hosts their annual Fall Luncheon at the Chester Valley Golf Club on Swedesford Road in Malvern.

Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, the Chester County Art Association hosts an opening reception to preview their NC Wyeth Founders Exhibition, an exhibit of 17 rarely viewed NC Wyeth paintings in hallmark in Allinson Gallery on view to the public from October 10th through the 18th.
