Pegasus TechnologiesPegasus Technologies, a locally owned and operated Managed Service Provider based in Kennett Square, is looking for detail-oriented candidates to add to the company’s team of dedicated support professionals.  Pegasus offers a progressive workplace with exposure to a broad range of technologies and serious career progression.

Job Details:

Pegasus Technical Services team provides direct support to our customers through both remote administration from our office in Kennett Square as well as directly on the customer’s premises. Daily duties will vary with customer needs but will include helpdesk support, server and network administration, backup and disaster recovery management, troubleshooting unique issues, and working with line-of-business applications specific to our customer’s fields.  Pegasus typical customer is an office of 10-50 users within the tri-state area, although we also serve both larger companies and some home users.

Regular job tasks include:

  • Active Directory administration
  • Group policy management
  • TCP/IP networking, including DNS and DHCP
  • Spyware and virus removal
  • Smartphone configuration
  • Registry modification
  • PC hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Desktop and Server setup and deployment

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting networks of Microsoft products such as Windows XP/7, 8, Windows Server, and Microsoft Office. Office 365, Exchange Server experience, and industry certifications are welcome.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 3+ years of professional experience providing IT Support.
  • Have reliable personal transportation and be able to commute daily to the Pegasus office in Kennett Square, PA and/or client sites within the Delaware Valley.  Applications for telecommuters will not be accepted.
  • Be able to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently.
  • Be able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Be able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal communications
  • Readily troubleshoot complex problems by following a logical methodology
  • Be willing and able to follow operational procedures, including documentation standards, scheduling, and detailed time accounting
  • Have a natural curiosity for technology and enjoy learning new things
  • Have a customer-centric view of technology support
  • Understand the importance of data security practices
  • Be able to work both independently and on a team, depending on the project

Compensation packages include a base salary with medical insurance (including health, dental, and vision) and profit sharing.  Ample paid time off is provided for holidays, vacation, and sick time to ensure a proper work-life balance.  Performance reviews are scheduled and completed on a 6-month cycle.
