Medical Staff Coordinator

Brandywine Hospital is looking for a Medical Staff Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Medical Staff Services Department and the Medical Staff Leadership. Once hired the Coordinator will maintains ER call schedules, process medical staff dues, prepare, distribute and record Medical Staff ballots and prepare and distribute notices to physicians and departments.

The ideal cadidate will have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in an office environment supporting administrative functions with at least 3 years of comprehensive credentialing experience in an acute care hospital settting, be proficient with Microsoft Office products, database software and internet and have the ability to type at least 55 words per minute. An understanding of medical terminology, disease entities and treatment is a plus.

Director, Behavioral Health

Brandywine Hospital seeks a drirector for the hospital’s Director Behavioral Health Services. The Director, who has twenty-four hour accountability for the Behavior Health Services department, is responsible for the patient population and assigned staff and plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates behavioral health departmental activities. He/She provides direct support and guidance to the staff in their development managerially.

The Director will have at least a Pennsylvania nursing license, A Bachelors or Masters degree in nursing and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
