Budweiser Clydesdales Return to West Chester

With the popularity of last year’s visit from the team of Budweiser Clydesdales, it’s a natural that they are coming back to downtown West Chester to deliver their favorite adult beverage. Watch this historic and fun event in downtown West Chester as the fuzzy-footed giants clippity-clop along Gay and Market Streets from 6pm to 8pm. It starts at Gay and Matlack Streets, proceeds west to Darlington, then south to Market, then east to Walnut Street. First introduced in 1933 after the repeal of Prohibition, the Clydesdales have served as a living symbol of not just Budweiser, but the unconquerable American spirit.

Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show & Country Fair

FREE Admission for the entire family on Saturday! The Horse Show starts at 8:00 am, food is available at the Country Fair starting at 10 am. The Midway/Games at the Country Fair is open noon to 5 p.m. On Sunday, there will be a Carriage Exhibition in the Main Ring (about 1:oo pm) that will give you an opportunity to see spectacular horses, harness and carriages. These beautiful carriages will then proceed through the show grounds for a Pleasure drive throughout the surrounding countryside. Be sure not to miss: Children’s Games & Attractions continue on the Midway at the Country Fair.

Sharing Nature with Children

Explore the wonders of nature by engaging your child in different activities each month to awaken their natural senses. A light refreshment will be provided. This program runs the first Sunday of every month from May through September 2015.
