New Valley Forge Turnpike Plaza Sports a Starbucks
A cup of coffee on the way to work — or any hour of the day or night — is even more convenient for Chester County’s Pennsylvania Turnpike commuters now that Starbucks is serving its avid customers directly from the high-traffic route.
Starbucks, Ladson Grill and other amenities highlight the turnpike’s newly reconstructed Valley Forge service plaza, an 8,336-square-foot facility situated on the toll road between Downingtown’s Exit No. 312 and Valley Forge’s Exit No. 326.
Starbucks, a Sunoco gas station and A-Plus Mini Market, and the plaza’s public telephones and restrooms are all open 24 hours a day, seven days a week all year round.
Ladson Grill is a self-service eatery featuring made-to-offer breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, cheese sticks, hot sandwiches, chicken tenders, wraps, pizza and more. It is open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The plaza also offers tourist information, an ATM, Pennsylvania Lottery sales, E-ZPass sales, a dog walk area, travel board information, an air station, outdoor seating, Wi-Fi Internet access and an automatic defibrillator for emergencies.
The Valley Forge service plaza was the eighth such facility built by High Construction Co.
