The $325,000 high bid in last week’s auction for Water World Park in Phoenixville was anything but refreshing for Customers Bank, holder of the abandoned waterpark.

The bank, which reserved the right of confirmation for the highest bid, rejected the offer for being too low. According to the Inquirer, Water World Park was originally listed for $1.9 million.

The property just off high-traffic Route 724 has also been eyed by the Phoenixville Area School District in the past, and it boasts a mixed-use zoning and proximity to Phoenixville Hospital, Philadelphia Premium Outlets, Valley Forge National Historical Park and the King of Prussia Mall, according to a Daily Local News Report.

“The property is perfect for commercial or residential redevelopment,” Max Spann Real Estate and Auction Co. Executive Vice President and COO Bob Dann said in the article.

Water World will remain on the market, and Customers Bank will resume its search for a buyer.
