Route 29 Turnpike Ramp Closed Saturday Night For Maintenance

By

Cars exit at the new Pennsylvania Turnpike Route 29.

From our friends at TMACC:

turkey_vulture_1Due to damage done to video equipment by a flock of turkey vultures, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists using Interstate 76 between Downingtown (Exit #312) and Valley Forge (Exit #326) that the Route 29 All-Electronic Interchange (Exit #320, E-ZPass only) will be closed to all traffic entering the system from Route 29 and exiting the eastbound-westbound Turnpike mainline at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 11.

Additionally, the entrance to the Turnpike from Atwater Drive will be closed.

The alternate route for motorists to access State Route 29 (Morehall Road) and the area local roadways from the Turnpike is to exit westbound at the Downingtown Interchange and eastbound at the Valley Forge Interchange.

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike maintenance personnel will assist with the closure until the work is completed and the interchange is reopened to motorists by 7 a.m. on July 12.

All work is weather sensitive and could be delayed or cancelled.
