A seven-year string of Top 50 advisor honors has sent the stock of Citadel investment representative Kevin McDermott soaring, and Bank Investment Consultant magazine has picked him as a winner of its elite Top 50 Most Consistent accolades.

“For any manager, consistency from their team can be more important than an up-and-down performance, even if the ups sometimes hit the realm of greatness,” the magazine wrote. “But what if you have a team that’s consistently great? Those are the true superstars. And that’s what we have here: the superstar advisors in the bank channel.”

The Exton-based bank’s CUSO Financial Services-affiliated advisor is known for contacting clients almost once a month from his West Chester office through periodic reviews, newsletters, emails and calls, and new clients largely come from personal referrals made by his existing clients.

“Kevin has been the cornerstone of Citadel’s successful Wealth Management Center, and we are so pleased that he has yet again been recognized by Bank Investment Consultant,” Citadel Vice President of Insurance and Investment Services Jim McCrudden said. “Kevin’s success is due to his dedication, hard work and constant devotion to his clients.”

Last year McDermott managed $165 million in assets, and his 2014 production amounted to $1.6 million.
