Chester County Says HOLA To New Spanish-Language Magazine
Intent on helping Chester County’s powerful economic engine hit on all cylinders — particularly the underserved market made up of the county’s largest minority — a Kennett Square entrepreneur has just hit the streets with a new Spanish-language magazine, HOLA Chester County.
“Everybody’s trying to hustle for new customers and new clients, and sometimes they ignore the huge potential of the Hispanic community,” founder Miguel Alban said in a recent Philly.com report.
Tapping his expertise in marketing and consulting as founder of the Hispanic Approach, Alban aims to utilize the free monthly magazine as a “bridge between both communities,” linking Hispanic readers to legal, real estate, health, insurance and immigration advice from local business owners and government officials.
“It’s something that has been noticeably lacking,” County Commissioner Terence Farrell said in the article.
The first issue of Hola Chester County hit newsstands June 30.
“It is time for the Hispanic community to have something very nice and to be told that, ‘Hey, American businesses … do care,'” Alban said. “‘They do want to do business with you. They do realize how much buying power you have.'”
