Making the list of Top US Breweries, Downingtown’s Victory Brewing Company was named Number 25 by the American Homebrewers Association in their newest edition of Zymurgy magazine.

Results are compiled by the Association as they ask all of their readers to submit a list of their 20 favorite beers that are available in the US.  Answers are then tallied into rankings for Top Beers, Top Breweries, Best Portfolio, and Top Imports. 

Also earning accolades was Victory Brewing Company’s DirtWolf Double IPA, an Imperial India Pale Ale brewed with whole flower citra, chinook, simcoe, and mosaic hops and weighing in at 8.7%ABV.  DirtWolf is available year-round and pairs well with burgers and barbeque for your summer beer needs.

Other area breweries earning a mention are Dogfish Head Brewery from Milton, Delaware at Number 7 and Troeg’s Brewing Co in Hershey, Pennsylvania at Number 19.
