Licensing Agreement Specialist

The Licensing Specialist is responsible for the processing of Microsoft agreements and maintaining all contract volume licensing information for the VLP Database.  The Specialist is responsible for creating product codes in Softmart internal system associated with Microsoft contracts, communicate Microsoft agreement announcements to appropriate Softmart personnel and assist with agreement entry and maintenance for all publisher volume licensing programs within the VLP database.

The ideal candidate must have 2 or more years business related experience, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and good decision making skills. Experience with Word and Excel is a plus.

Microsoft Specialist

The Microsoft Specialist at Softmart focuses on pre-sales support of Microsoft products, assists in supporting Sales’ requests regarding Microsoft’s licensing portals and acts as an informational resource and subject matter expert on Microsoft products, product use rights and licensing for all Softmart employees and customers.

The Microsoft Specialist will be responsible for updating appropriate internal tracker applications with incoming sales support requests, develop/organize/conduct Microsoft product and licensing training to Softmart employees, and regularly organize/maintain Microsoft information on appropriate Intranet (Selma) sections completely and accurately.

The ideal candidate for this position must have a BA/BS degree or strong equivalent work experience in a related field or industry and experience in sales and/or customer service with strong communication and presentation skills.

Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing new projects and existing enhancements for Softmart’s eCommerce web site and other internal web-based software applications.

Once hired the Software Engineer will be responsible for working with business stakeholders to flush through requirements, create design/SRS documents, build user interface applications and back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages. The Software Engineer will also assist management in project planning, requirements/design and creating prototypes and functional specifications for development.

One must have 3 years work experience as a Software Engineer and have a working knowledge of applicable internet development tools, experience with HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, and .NET Framework 4.5.
