Senior Business Analyst

AFS is seeking Senior Business Analysts with the ability to travel to Europe for extended periods of time. Once hired, the Analyst will be responsible for providing a high level of expertise in gathering functional business requirements and preparation of functional business specifications as well as developing test case scenarios. Once hired, the analyst may be called upon to manage an entire project life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, finance, information systems preferred or relevant business experience and 10 + years of business experience in enterprise wide information technology, financial accounting or banking. A strong understanding of banking business, production applications, loan operations/General Ledger accounting automation is highly preferred as is a knowledge of MS Access or relational database. Profeciency in MS Word and Excel is a must.

Java Technical Lead – Senior Project Lead
This Java Technical Lead position leads and mentors a team of software developers and interacts with both internal and client teams using many diverse skill sets from business, technical, testing and project management.  This role involves participation in user’s functional requirement studies, collaboration with other teams to create quicker issue resolution.

An extensive background in banking, 8+ years of Java software engineering and previous management experience is a requirement for the Java Technical Lead position as is Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering. Experience with JEE Stacks (eg. Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc)  database modeling, deployment and tuning is a plus.

Project Leader/Project Manager PMO

The Project Lead at AFS is responsible for significant portions of initiatives for the business form proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation. Once hired, the person will provide a proactive interface between the customers and the technical and business staff and manages the entire project life cycle ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of business experience in project management and in commercial lending, credit or treasury/deposit services. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and excellent Word, Excel and Powerpoint is required. Strong verbal and written communication and excellent presentation skills are a must.
