Brandywine Health Foundation officials are offering local businesses the opportunity to market their business to 25,000 Strawberry Festival attendees at the end of the month.
The Festival’s Adopt-A-Booth (see brochure below) program is designed for local businesses willing to give of their time in return for the opportunity to enhance the company’s visibility and spirit through volunteerism.
There is no sponsorship cost to adopt a booth – just a few hours of time over a four day period. In return fair goers experience the business and its leadership role in the community in an upbeat, fun environment of the annual Strawberry Festival.
The Adopt-A-Booth program works like this:
- A company decides to staff a booth for part ORÂ all of the festival
- They recruit staff to serve as volunteers to run a specific activity/game booth
- 20 volunteers are needed to cover the 4 day event (*depending on the area)
- A company can cover the entire event or choose just 1 or 2 days to staff a booth
- Company-provided signage may be displayed in the booth
- Volunteers can wear company hats, pins, etc.
Booths will need staffing during the following dates and time (2 per shift)
- Thursday, May 28th: 5 – 8 pm & 8 – 10 pm
- Friday, May 29th: 5 – 8 pm & 8 – 11 pm
- Saturday, May 30th: 12 – 2 pm, 2 – 5 pm, 5 – 8 pm & 8 – 11 pm
- Sunday, May 31st: 12 – 3 pm & 3 – 6 pm
