CCCBI’s Annual State Of The County Luncheon Slated For April 8th

Chester County Commissioners Terence Farrell, Michelle Kichline and Kathi Cozzone

County Commissioners Kathi Cozzone, Terence Farrell, and Michelle Kichline will address the issues and successes of Chester County in the past year and give an outlook of future opportunities at the State of the County Address Luncheon.

This luncheon takes place on Wednesday, April 8, at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center from 11:30- 2:00 pm. Hosted by the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, this luncheon draws hundreds of business and community leaders and provides an opportunity to see what’s in store for Chester County.

The Chamber will also present the Larry Boling Award for Excellence in Local Government at the luncheon. This award honors an individual who is a professional in the local government public sector of Chester County who has established excellence in their jurisdiction in the administration of government through economy, efficiency and introduction of sound business practices, and projects or initiatives that demonstrate innovation.

Terry Woodman, the East Whiteland Township Manager who is credited with paving the way for the robust economic growth between Malvern and Exton over the past decade and a half will receive the Chamber’s Boling award this year

Past recipients of the award have included individuals with excellent performance in the municipal, school district and county government arenas.

The event is presented by Aqua, the Bryn Mawr-based water and wastewater utility, serving approximately 3 million people in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, New Jersey, Indiana, and Virginia.

Tickets and sponsorships for State of the County Luncheon are still available. Individual tickets are $50 per member with advance registration and $100 for non-members. Corporate tables are available.
