By

The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center will host its first annual Girls’ Science Expo from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at the museum, 1220 American Blvd., West Chester.

The expo is being presented in conjunction with the museum’s Women in Aerospace and Technology Program and will offer participants in grades 3 through 12 an opportunity to present science projects to the public.

While student registration is closed, visitors are welcome to see the experiments dealing with flight, space, the environment, energy, chemistry, mechanical engineering and robotics. Visitors will also have full access to AHMEC exhibits.

Admission is $7 per person. The premier aviation museum, established in 1996, is a nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to helicopters.

Update: It looks like the deadline for student registration has been extended to Sunday March 21st. Register here.
