Exton’s AGC Chemicals Americas To Unveil New Product Line At National Conference

A new cutting-edge material predominantly for automotive fuel lines will soon be coming out of Exton, and its unveiling to the world by AGC Chemicals Americas took place at this week’s ITB Automotive Energy Storage Systems Conference in Detroit.

“We are pleased to provide customers with this next generation of adhesive compounds that contribute to improved performance, extended life and exceptional mechanical strength,” Senior Business Manager Drew D’Agosta said in a Virtual-Strategy Magazine report. “These products come from a history of material science solutions with proven results. The target market for these products is not only automotive applications but chemical or industrial operations as well.”

The line of Fluon AH-ETFE compounds is expected to provide advantages to fuel system component makers looking for “unsurpassed conductivity levels, chemical resistance, permeation resistance and protection against static build-up,” the article noted.
