Acme Markets To Roll Out Produce For Kids Club This Spring

By

Acme Markets, the Malvern-based grocery chain, is set to ring up a helping hand for parents through healthy eating welcome kits, online activities and meal planning resources.

The new Produce for Kids Club will enable shoppers to buy featured products at Acme Markets and other participating retailers, enter codes from their receipts online, and support Feeding America’s fight against hunger and food insecurity.

“If kids don’t get the right nutrition often enough on the front end, all bets are off in terms of realizing your genetic potential,” Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida Vice President of Development Greg Higgerson said in a feature for The Packer. “Whatever your role is in making Produce for Kids a successful endeavor through the course of the year, whatever part you play in that, I hope you feel good about it because it’s making a tremendous difference.”
