AmerisourceBergen Promotes Pair Of Executives

Accompanying the rapid ascent of Chesterbrook’s pharmaceutical wholesale heavyweight AmerisourceBergen, two executives climbed another rung up the corporate ladder last week.

The No. 28 Fortune 500 company created a new position and announced two resulting promotions: AmerisourceBergen Drug Corp. President David W. Neu to the brand new AmerisourceBergen Corp. executive vice president of retail strategy and president of Good Neighbor Pharmacy, as well as AmerisourceBergen Drug Corp. Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Robert P. Mauch to AmerisourceBergen Corp. executive vice president and president of AmerisourceBergen Drug Corp.

“Bob has demonstrated tremendous leadership, and his powerful strategic thinking has played a significant role in enabling AmerisourceBergen to deliver on our promise to be a global healthcare solutions leader,” President and CEO Steven H. Collis said in a Herald Online report. “… The evolving healthcare landscape has created unprecedented opportunities to elevate the role of community pharmacy.
