Concerts, talks, tours and an Orchid Extravaganza in the warm 4-acre conservatory are all happening at Longwood Gardens now through March 29.

There are more than 5,000 blooming orchids along with other indoor highlights including the Mediterranean Garden. Nectarines, melons and other fruits and vegetables are flourishing in the Estate Fruit House.

OrKId Days (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 16 and March 14) are designed for young garden guests and feature discovery stations, a rainforest activity, interactive storytelling with puppets, and a family seek-and-find in the conservatory.

Longwood has scheduled performances by a variety of musicians including Mtukudzi & the Black Spirits, the Anat Cohen Quartet and Hector Olivera. Performances require special tickets.

See the full schedule at here.
