Downingtown-based Softmart is this holiday season helping residents at the VA Hospital in Coatesville.

The company’s Goodwill Committee is working with elderly veterans, hospice patients and service members with severe mental and emotional damage. Some of the patients have served as far back as WWII.  Employees are donating clothing and toiletry items to the veterans.

The committee is also providing Christmas gifts to a local family of five which recently lost their mother to cancer.

Softmart is a global supplier of technology solutions for business, government, education and healthcare.
