Ricoh Company, Ltd. has been named to the 2014 Top 100 Global Innovators list by Thomson Reuters, a leading global information source for businesses and professionals.

The Thomson Reuters awards honors companies that lead global business by protecting creative inventions through intellectual property rights and transforming them into successful business.

Thomson Reuters looks at overall patent volume, patent grant success rate, global reach of the portfolio and patent influence. Ricoh was selected for its patent grant success rate and its portfolio’s global reach. Ricoh patents were granted in four major markets – China, the U.S., Europe and Japan.

Ricoh says it is accelerating its growth efforts in commercial printing, industry products, and consumer business.  Ricoh Americas has headquarters in Malvern.
