Softonic International is reporting great news about the growing Chester County search engine DuckDuckGo and for people concerned with online privacy.

Mozilla plans to integrate DuckDuckGo into the next version of Firefox. DuckDuckGo, as this site has reported, is a search engine that doesn’t collect any personal information.

Writer Jonathan Riggell reports Mozilla is following Apple, which also offers DuckDuckGo in Safari both for Mac OS X and iOS.  He wrote this leaves Microsoft Internet Explorer and Google Chrome without. DuckDuckGo competes with both  search engines, although you can change your search provider manually if you choose.

DuckDuckGo will be available in Firefox 34, which should be released on Nov. 25.
