There is a divide between those who hate to see daylight savings end and those who don't mind it, and this Phoenixville resident is among the latter.

While many people do not look forward to the end of daylight saving time, one Phoenixville resident cannot wait for the two times in a year when the measurement of time gets altered, writes Alyson Krueger for The New York Times.

Twenty-eight-year-old Alex Reifsnyder, who grew up in Downingtown, always waits with anticipation for the second Sunday in March and the first Sunday in November, when daylight saving time starts and ends in the United States.

“I’ve just always found it to be so fascinating to watch,” he said.

When he was 11, Reifsnyder started to beg his parents to allow him to stay up to see the clocks change on the cable box.

“They would either give in or I would sneak down to the family room,” he said.

As an adult, he always ensures to stay up when the clocks change to see it live.

“I am the type of person who enjoys the little things in life,” he said. “They really bring me up, especially with all the bad things going on around us.”
