Lifestyle Center Roadwork, New Hangars And Rail Station Signals Pull In $2.6M

A total of $2.64 million of state funding is being routed to Chester County for a trio of transportation projects that promise to help steer further economic growth, according to a Daily Local News report.

Better access and pedestrian accessibility features for Devon’s planned new Lifestyle Center development for Urban Outfitters, Inc. on Route 30 attracted $1.5 million in state grant monies while new hangars and sitework at New Garden Flying Field landed almost $1 million and traffic signal improvements at SEPTA’s Regional Rail Station received $160,000.

“Act 89 transportation funding continues to pay off in big ways for Chester County,” state Sen. Andy Dinniman said in the article. “We are already seeing road improvement and repaving projects, and such investments in transportation will continue to play a major role in creating jobs, boosting our economy and maintaining a high quality of life in our region.”
