E. Kahn Development Joins County Transportation Association
The Downingtown real estate firm E. Kahn Development Corp. has joined the Transportation Management Association of Chester County.
E. Kahn Development, which specializes in taking on challenging projects for sustainable development, has in its portfolio some local high-profile buildings, including 313 W. Market St. and 10 N. High St. in West Chester, and the Cubesmart headquarters in Malvern.
The privately held real estate firm has since 1994 specialized in acquiring, repositioning, and developing commercial, industrial and multi-family real estate throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. The firm transforms environmentally challenged properties into vibrant business and community centers.
Malvern’s Eastside Flats is among the more than 600,000 square feet of transit-oriented mixed use projects either planned or under construction.
TMACC says more than 100 Chester County municipalities, planners, engineers, universities and businesses who value the improvement of transportation options have joined the organization.
“TMACC understands and advocates for the inclusion of transportation options,” said P. Timothy Phelps, TMACC executive director. “We look forward to working with EKD on future projects to increase transit amenities, like sidewalks, bike lanes and bus routes, easier to incorporate into our plans.”
