West Pharma Leader Promoted To President Of Largest Business Unit

A new local leader has taken the reins of nearly $1 billion in annual sales revenue for the largest business unit of Exton’s West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc.

West appointed Karen Flynn, employee of 28 years,  as president of its global pharmaceutical packaging systems, according to a Philly.com news clip and West press release.

“Karen has a strong track record of growing revenue while maintaining high team engagement and motivation, and has been incredibly successful in the management of our Americas business,” West Chairman and CEO Donald E. Morel, Jr. said in the press release. “As West enters a very exciting period of anticipated growth, the board and I are confident in Karen’s ability to serve as one of our company’s key business leaders.”

Among several local positions of leadership involvement, Flynn also serves on the advisory board of the Downingtown STEM Academy.
