Retail giveaways, discount coupons and even special experiences like a meet and greet with a celebrity, a one-on-one with a Wall Street trader or a tour of Coca-Cola headquarters are up for grabs when students get good grades and simply scan them into a new mobile app made by Malvern native Logan Cohen.
The free app for teenagers and college students, Kudzoo, converts a student’s grade point average and level of improvement into Kudzoo Cash, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
All it takes is a profile complete with name, birthday, email, student ID and school year, then the app’s software takes care of the rest.
Cohen has now partnered with a Philly software developer to take the platform to the next level.
