Leading Edge Composites Of Coatesville Has Year Of Exponential Growth

By

Urban development is on the rise as officials say Coatesville is finally bouncing back.

A trio of forces have converged to propel 23-year-old Coatesville aviation solutions provider Leading Edge Composites to new heights over the past year. The company has doubled its workforce and tripled its footprint, according to an Aviation International News report.

An aviation industry trend toward outsourcing design and engineering, together with rising demand for lighter and more fuel-efficient composite materials and Leading Edge’s soaring reputation for speedy execution of its unique service offering, has steered the company’s trajectory.

“Some of our customers formerly had multiple companies they used for the engineering, design and part production,” co-founder Brian Arni said in the article. “We have shown the value of being a one-stop shop, from the timing aspect and the clarity of concept and detail to giving them input into the production side. Simultaneously, our regular composite parts production continues to expand. And depending on project size and scope, weeks can be saved by using [our] services.”

Leading Edge’s recent expansion was capped by a new 44,000-square-foot headquarters.
