With Ebola Connection To Pennsylvania, Radnor Readies For The Disease

By

As Pennsylvania confronts the possibility of Ebola within its borders, Radnor Township is taking steps to be one of the first to be ready if it spreads.

Three state residents — albeit northwest Pennsylvania residents — are being monitored after flying with a nurse who tested positive for the disease after treating a West African patient in Texas, according to a Main Line Media News report.

“We, as a municipality, want to be prepared to safely respond to help visitors and the people of Radnor,” police spokesman Lt. Chris Flanagan said in the article.

Though there’s no connection between Ebola and Radnor yet, local health officials are proactively assessing their training and equipment to ensure “they have what they need.”
