Unique Productivity Initiative Takes Two Chesco Businesses Far From The Workplace

By

When a pair of Chester County companies recently teamed up to boost worker productivity, it took them far from the workplace — and brought so much success that the partnership has already expanded.

Exton’s West Pharmaceutical Services recruited Malvern-based Education Navigation to help alleviate the stress and distraction of parental support for children with special needs.

“Employers understand the elder care arena very well. They don’t understand, necessarily, the education arena and that it’s typically 12-plus years of an employee’s life cycle that they’re dealing with these issues,” Education Navigation Founder and CEO Debra Schafer said in an Employee Benefit News article.

West pays for the first three hours of services for employees at three of its locations.
