Exton’s 3SI Rolls Out New GPS System To Cut Retail, Pharmaceutical Theft

By

3SI Security Systems of Exton has just introduced its NextGen3 Electronic Satellite Pursuit GPS tracking system to help pharmacies, electronics stores, game stores and other retailers cut losses from theft.

The company, in the security business since 1972, says the system’s global platform leverages multiple security and tracking and will deliver impressive returns:  apprehension in up to 70 percent of cases, and 87 percent asset return.

3SI says the devices offer deployment flexibility and improved data storage and organization. The Phone Tracker™, used to target smartphone thefts, and the PharmaTracker®, which focuses on thefts of pharmaceuticals, offer a compact profile which makes them easier to conceal from criminals.

“The increase in demand for products to help our retail customers foil criminals has increased remarkably,” said Mary Pifer, vice president of international marketing and product development. “Our PharmaTracker and Phone Tracker devices use cutting-edge design and technology and substantially increase the chances of catching thieves and successfully recovering the store’s assets.”

Retail organizations also use 3SI’s NextGen3 Cash Trackerâ„¢ devices, released earlier this year, which can be deployed to catch thieves targeting cash registers and safes.

New products specifically designed to meet the requirements of the ATM, jewelry and law enforcement industries, will be rolled out later this year.

3SI specializes in innovation that protects and also combats crime through dye and ink staining, DNA and explosive gas neutralization technology. The company’s European headquarters are in Zavantem, Belgium. See some of the companies with whom 3SI partners to provide security here:  http://www.3sisecurity.com/about-3si/partners/
