Many of Pennsylvania’s most promising business pioneers and entrepreneurs call Chester County home, but what about the everyday employee?  It turns out those everyday employees enjoy some of the best workplaces in the state too.

Research by the commonwealth’s economic development leaders has recently concluded that three of Pennsylvania’s Best Places to Work are right here in Chester County.

Based on employee experience surveys and workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics, the top 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania list includes large firms like the Compass Group in Wayne and small and medium firms such as Stream Companies Inc. of Malvern and Fischer Cunnane & Associates Ltd.of West Chester.

“We are honoring the Pennsylvania companies who have transformed the workplace into places of opportunity where employees can build a career and a bright future,” Gov. Tom Corbett said in an article by the Team Pennsylvania Foundation, which is a lead sponsor of the program with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

“Your commitment to excellence and challenging of the conventional reflects the creativity and innovation that defines Pennsylvania’s business leaders.”
