Akcelerant of Malvern, named one of the fastest growing firms in the nation by Inc. magazine, is continuing its expansion into the $1 billion credit union market.

The provider of software and services to the financial industry has expanded its relationship with One Nevada Credit Union, which is now using its costing and profitability solution Akcelerant Profitwise. One Nevada, one of more than 500 financial institutions using Akcelerant products, is a Las Vegas-based Fiserv Spectrum user with assets over $722 million and more than 75,000 members.

Profitwise assists in cost development and profitability measurement by analyzing and reporting on all aspects of an institution’s financial performance and consumer behavior. The solution is grounded in a behavior-based cost methodology.

“We have been very impressed with Akcelerant’s desire to continually invest in its products, and the fact that they release monthly Profitwise analytic enhancements was a clear benefit to us,” said Steve O’Donnell, One Nevada’s controller.

O’Donnell said Profitwise gives One Nevada accurate and extensive insight into the true costs to sell its products and service members.

Inc. magazine placed Akcelerant, founded in 2000, at 4,801 of 5,000 fast growing nationwide firms. The magazine reported Akcelerant has 104 employees and added 18 new jobs in the past three years.
