Penn Medicine Creates Southern Tier Medical Destination
In today’s world of tightly packed schedules and convenience-centric attitudes, no one wants to waste time traveling to multiple locations for health care appointments. And next year, a new medical destination now rising in southern Chester County will provide local patients with a one-stop shop for most of their medical needs.
In response to the influx of new residents to the county, Jennersville has been targeted for a $22 million, 72,000-square-foot medical office building featuring an outpatient surgery center staffed by the physicians and services of the nearby Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital in West Chester, plus a suite of other medical services and local health care practices, according to an article on GlobeSt.com.
And the 45-acre site at the intersection of Routes 1 and 796 boasts opportunity for more in the future.
