Exton-based Citadel has opened its newest full-service branch office at 2560 W. Ridge Pike (on the corner of Ridge and Trooper) in Audubon.

The branch, managed by Fallon Maloney, is the first of four new branches to open in the next several months featuring two self-service teller machines stationed in the lobbies. Citadel says it is the first financial services company in the Philadelphia area to incorporate this new technology designed and operated by Diebold, Inc., a technology security services company.

The new branch introduces customers to a never-before-used deposit automation system to expedite self-service transactions and add a more consultative approach to customers’ banking needs. Audubon customers will be able to perform a variety of routine transactions on their own. Citadel says this will give staff more time to address more complex needs and build deeper member relationships.

“We’re leveraging automation with our new branches to deliver better customer experiences by adding a consultative approach to their everyday banking,” said Pam Krupansky, vice president of retail delivery. “We’re creating an atmosphere that offers greater efficiencies, while also promoting greater engagement between our staff and customers.”

The branch also has two full-service drive-thru lanes, an automation-enabled drive up ATM, and a self-service coin machine. Citadel offers free checking, low rates on loans, and a variety of tools such as online and mobile banking.

Two new branches will open later this year in Pottstown and Glen Mills. The company’s first branch in Bucks County will open in early 2015 in Warminster.

There will be a grand opening celebration at the new branch with donuts and coffee served in the mornings, and gourmet hot dogs, Churros and drinks served in the afternoons on both Friday, Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23.  Citadel will also have limited-time special promotions such as up to $200 in gift cards to new customers who open checking accounts. In addition, residents are encouraged to visit the Audubon branch for its grand opening event August 22-23 for special in-branch giveaways and offers.
