Unionville Family Medicine has announced the practice will become Penn Family Medicine Unionville on Aug. 26.

“While exterior signs and stationery will change to carry our new Penn Medicine name, the team of physicians, practitioners and office staff you have come to know and trust will remain the same,” the practice announced to patients.

Dr. L. Peter Soraruf, Dr. Michael Welsh, and Lindsay Calio, physician assistant, said the change is part of Chester County Hospital’s integration with Penn Medicine.   The staff said patients will have access to advanced services and resources of Penn Medicine, and that health information will be available at all points of care.

The doctors said they anticipate a smooth transition without interruption in quality of care.  The practice is located at 687 Unionville Road in Kennett Square,  telephone  610-444-2002.
