Independence LED Lighting of Wayne announced on July 4th a new $10 million program titled “Energy Independence Day,” giving incentives and buy-backs to the first 1,000 businesses who sign up.

The program will give small businesses the opportunity to sign up for American made LED technology and will cover up to $10,000 per business for the first 1,000 businesses who sign on by the end of July.

Independence LED says its lights save over 50 percent on energy and have a 10-year warranty. Energy Independence Day empowers small business owners to start by seeing cost and energy savings from LED lighting in their own ceilings.

“Our founding fathers took a bold step declaring independence and ushering in democracy over monarchy that was previously accepted as standard,” said Charlie Szoradi (pictured above), CEO of Independence LED.

“Since moving our manufacturing from China to Pennsylvania in 2010, we have helped hundreds of businesses including Fortune 100 companies, the U.S. military, and U.S. government agencies replace ‘standard’ lights. Major organizations often have staff electricians. So, to help small businesses, we are also offering to cover installation labor costs for our sample LEDs as a program bonus.”

The company is offering “cash for clunkers” buy backs on any existing fluorescent tubes at $1 per linear foot, a free lighting savings analysis, a guarantee on samples, manufacturer direct pricing, no-cost financing for qualified businesses and free installation.

Independence LED said with over 2.3 billion fluorescent tubes in American ceilings, the savings potential is extraordinary. Over the 20 year life of LEDs, the savings is $331.2 billion and 3.7 trillion pounds of CO2.  Replacing other bulbs beyond tubes could double the savings. See Calculations Online Here.
