Hankin Group Golf Event Will Benefit Handi-Crafters

Golfers interested in lending a hand to local people with disabilities are invited to join the Hankin Group and Bentley Systems as they host the 28th annual Hankin Invitational Golf Tournament on Oct. 6.

7.9.2014 Harkin GolfProceeds from the event, set for Whitford Country Club in Exton, will benefit Handi-Crafters in Thorndale.

Handi-Crafters is one of the largest non-profit employment and disability focused support service programs in southeast Pennsylvania. Each year the organization helps more than 400 individuals to access rewarding employment opportunities in the community and in its Skill Development Center.

The organization partners with employers and businesses who choose socially responsible outsourcing to meet their production, assembly and packaging needs. Handi-Crafters support programs include housing solutions and retirement options. Handi-Crafters has been a local resource since 1961.

7.9.2014 Jaguar of West Chester The day-long tournament begins with registration and continental breakfast at 7 a.m. and will include a lunch barbecue, 6 p.m. cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and a dinner, auction and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Prizes include a new jaguar from Jaguar of West Chester with a hole in one.

This year’s honorary event co-chairs are Greg Bentley and Robert Hankin.
