Herr Foods of Nottingham will this summer be the official snack food of the Automobile Racing Club of America during the 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, a Midwestern home improvement store.

5.11.2014 AutoHerr’s will sponsor the Herr’s Live Life With Flavor 200 ARCA Racing Series event at the Madison International Speedway in Oregon, Wis. They will also be the title sponsor of the Herr’s Chase the Taste 200 ARCA Racing Series event at the Winchester, Ind. Speedway. Both races will be broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network. Event information is at www.arcaracing.com.

The Herr Foods Chase the Taste 200 presented by Federated Car Care will headline the Winchester Freedom Festival at the Winchester Speedway over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. This new three-day Independence Day festival will feature winged sprint cars on Friday, July 4, Top Speed Modifieds on Saturday, July 5th, and the Herr Foods Chase the Taste 200 Sunday afternoon, July 6.

The Herr’s Live Life With Flavor 200 at Madison International Speedway will also be a Sunday afternoon race on Aug. 24, with ARCA practice and Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 23.

Race fans will have the opportunity to “Save Big Money” on tickets to both Herr’s sponsored events, as Menard Stores will sell advance tickets for each at substantial discounts.

Jennifer Arrigo, public relations manager for Herr’s, said this is the fourth year Herr’s has partnered with Menards to promote their companies at the races. Herr’s execs attend the races and offer unique snacks (as yet to be determined) during the events.

“Herr’s and Menards have become very important strategic marketing partners, not only for Madison International Speedway, but for the entire ARCA Racing Series,” said Mark Gundrum, vice president of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships for ARCA. “Herr’s involvement with the tour and our presenting sponsor positions them as a very important marketing partner for ARCA.”

Herr’s products, made in Nottingham, are sold in 28 states, including the 14 states in which Menards has retail locations. Menards, based in Eau Claire, Wis., has 380 home improvement stores in the Midwest.

The ARCA Racing Series powered by Menards is an American stock car series, the premier division of ARCA.
