Victory Brewing Company is now offering tours of both its Downingtown and Parkesburg brewing facilities.

The Downingtown tours, which run about 20 minutes, are free of charge and take visitors through the brewhouse and fermentation rooms. Victory allows a maximum of 15 people per tour, and parties should report to the retail store at the facility to sign up.

Tour hours are 3, 4 and 5 p.m. Fridays; and 12, 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Victory is making its new state-of-the-art brewing facility in the countryside of West Sadsbury outside of Parkesburg a tourist destination with package tours that begin April 5. Due to parking restrictions as construction is finished, all guests must travel by bus to and from the facility.

Beer lovers are invited for a behind-the-scenes look at the new brewery, and to enjoy some catered food and Victory beer. Tours run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays in April. The $58 per person ticket includes a guided round-trip school bus ride from Downingtown to Parkesburg.

Visitors will have a welcome beer in the catering hall, followed by an introduction to Parkesburg and a full guided tour of the facility. Visitors will learn about the brewing process from the production floor. There will be stops in the fermentation room, mezzanine bridge, brewhouse, packaging line and hop cooler.

The tours conclude with chef-selected, seasonally inspired food and beer pairings, and visitors will receive a commemorative Parkesburg Victory glass. Parkesburg tour groups are limited to 40 people per session, with two groups of 20 touring the facility. Participants should arrive half an hour before departure time.

Parkesburg tours are limited to those 21 and older, and valid ID is required. Safety rules and ticket information are on the company web site here.
