PREIT, Owner Of Exton Mall, To List First Quarter Financials As Mall Sets April Events

The Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, which owns the Exton Square Mall, plans to release its financial results for the first quarter of 2014 after trading closes on Wednesday, April 23.

A conference call to review the company’s results and future outlook is scheduled for 11 a .m. Thursday, April 24. Those who would like to listen may dial 877-870-4263 at least five minutes before the scheduled start time, and provide conference number 10043291. Investors may also access the call in a “listen only” mode through the company web site, www.preit.com.

The trust’s Exton Square Mall has a variety of special events scheduled for April. Books-A-Million, Inc. at the mall is participating in Education Week April 5-11. Shoppers can register online at www.booksamillion.com/educators_special for the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree during “Bam! Books a Million Education Week.

Books-A-Million, based in Birmingham, Al., is the second largest book retailer in the nation with 256 stores in 33 states, including the Exton store. The retailer sells books, magazines, toys and technology, movies, music and text books both at stores and on its web site.

Learning Express will also host a representative from Narberth-based Crazy Aaron’s Putty World from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 5. The firm makes putty and putty creatures in seasonal colors and shapes.

The Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, founded in 1960, owns 35 shopping malls, mostly in the Mid-Atlantic Region. PREIT is headquartered in Philadelphia.
