The Exton Region Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the grand opening of member business Semus and Associates of Glenmoore with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 24.

Helen Semus is an Ameriprise Financial Services advisor with an office at 2950 Conestoga Road in Glenmoore. Members will join Sen. Andy Dinniman, Congressman Jim Gerlach, state Rep. Becky Corbin and Chester County Commissioners Terrence Farrell and Ryan Costello in celebrating the grand opening of her local franchise.

Guests are invited for hors d’oeuvres from 4 to 7 p.m. There will also be an art show by John Suplee, a local painter whose style has been described as “easygoing realism.” Kevin Pierce, a retired state trooper and ceremonial vocalist who now sings for many special regional occasions, will also entertain at the event.

The Exton chamber is an active resource and promoter of local businesses and now has a blog, Exton Connections, on its web site.

The chamber recently relocated to the Exton Square Mall. The new office is on the mail level next to Macy’s on the east side, in the space formerly occupied by The Creative Hand, just across the street from the Chester County Library’s Exton branch.

The address is 185 Exton Square Mall, Exton, Pa. 19341. The new telephone number is 610-363-7746.
