Chester County Chamber Endorses Three State Rep Candidates

The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry is endorsing three regional political candidates the board believes will well represent local businesses.

All are candidates running in the general election Nov. 11.

Becky Corbin is running to retain her seat in the 155th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.  The district encompasses the 155th Pennsylvania House of Representatives located within Chester County and includes Downingtown Borough and Caln, East Brandywine, East Caln, South Coventry, Upper Uwchlan, Uwchlan, West Brandywine, West Pikeland and West Vincent townships.

“Rep. Becky Corbin’s belief in what we do here at the Chamber is what made her an easy choice for us,” said Guy Ciarrocchi, CCCBI president and CEO. We want and need people who share our vision moving forward.”

Tim Hennessey is running to retain the 26th Pennsylvania House of Representatives District seat. This  includes Coatesville and Honey Brook along with East Coventry,East Nantmeal,East Vincent,Elverson, Honey Brook,North Coventry,Spring City, Valley,Wallace,Warwick,West Caln and West Nantmeal townships.

“Rep. Hennessey is a lifelong resident of Chester County, someone who knows what has worked in the past and what we need to do in order to succeed in the years to come,” Ciarrocchi said.

Cuyler Walker is a candidate for the 158th State House District seat currently held by retiring Representative Chris Ross. The district includes the townships of East Bradford, West Bradford, Newlin, West Marlborough, East Marlborough, New Garden, London Britain and Avondale Borough.

“Choosing Cuyler was simple,” said Ciarrocchi. “He is the only candidate running for State Representative in the 158th District who has experience owning and managing a business and creating jobs, and he is committed to the business friendly policies that we champion here at the Chamber and in the business community.”
