Bookings Open for Wedding Venue Coming to The Creamery in Kennett Square

The Creamery in Kennett Square is launching a dedicated wedding venue in 2027, with space for 300 guests and a full hospitality experience.

The Creamery of Kennett Square is preparing for its next chapter, creating a place where couples can say “I do.”

The community hub, known for its beer garden, events, and gathering spaces, is expanding into a dedicated wedding venue, writes Brooke Schultz for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Bookings for the new space will open for 2027 events, with a price point of around $100–$175 per guest.

The new venue will occupy a renovated historic building adjacent to the existing space, accommodating up to 300 guests across 6,341 square feet. The layout will include a cocktail reception area, ceremony and event spaces, and primary and secondary suites for getting ready, as well as a ramp and elevator tower for accessibility.

Square Roots Collective, the organization behind The Creamery, is partnering with local designers and the National Park Service to maintain the building’s historic character throughout the renovation. The venue will carry its own name, branding, and identity, though food and beverages will still come through The Creamery’s hospitality operation.

The project was a long time coming after years of inquiries from couples who wanted to marry at The Creamery

“It’s a natural extension of our heart for hospitality, and we can’t wait to host celebrations for people from our community and beyond,” said Stephanie Almanza, co-CEO of Square Roots.

The new venue will also complement the growing hospitality offerings along Birch Street, joining the upcoming Opus venue and boutique hotels Artelo and The Francis.
