Once a year, the Chester County Chamber Foundation hosts its Summer Solstice celebration. This signature event marks the foundation’s one and only fundraising opportunity, which allows it to support the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI), the Youth Leadership Program, and other charitable endeavors.
This year’s Summer Solstice, presented by Valley Creek Productions, will be held at Loch Aerie Mansion in Malvern. The timeless, elegant venue will welcome guests from across the region on Wednesday, June 17 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM, with a Mediterranean Magic theme. Guests are invited to add to the magic by showcasing your best Mediterranean attire.
The foundation supports CCCBI by preserving and promoting healthy and sustainable commerce in Chester County. This benefits all members of the community through programs and grant-making to provide youth leadership training, education, career paths, and workforce development.
At the cornerstone of the foundation’s work is the Youth Leadership Program, which recently celebrated its 2025-2026 program year graduation. The objective of the program is to create exceptional opportunities for all students in the county to prepare them for future careers and to groom the next generation of community and business leaders.
The program helps students create professional networks with industry and local leaders as well as form lasting friendships with other Chester County students. In addition to forming these worthwhile networks, participants learn valuable skills for career and leadership positions.
As its focus is career readiness, the foundation concentrates on necessary skills such as resume/cover letter writing and communication, while also addressing vital “soft skills” needed for success. Some of these driven students will be in attendance at the Summer Solstice to share their experience throughout the program.
CCCBI is looking forward to an eventful evening filled with old friends, new connections and a celebration of the Chester County Chamber Foundation’s charitable efforts. With the help of generous sponsors, the foundation will have food provided by John Serock Catering, wine from Penns Woods Winery, signature cocktails and a silent auction.
