
West Chester University has organized 17 separate commencement ceremonies to accommodate 3,568* spring graduates and their guests.
The campus ceremonies take place between Wednesday, May 6, and Sunday, May 10, in Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall in Philips Memorial Building and Hollinger Field House.
There are 2,685 students* eligible to graduate at West Chester University’s undergraduate commencement ceremonies. Undergraduate students will graduate by department and College. The undergraduate schedule is below.
Also, two ceremonies for the 883* graduate-level candidates will take place on Saturday, May 9: The 3:30 PM ceremony in Hollinger for graduates of the College of Arts and Humanities, College of Education and Social Work, College of the Sciences and Mathematics, School of Music; and the 6:30 PM ceremony in Hollinger for graduates of the College of Business and Public Management and College of Health Sciences.
WCU’s Philadelphia location will host two commencement ceremonies for May and August 2026 graduates on Saturday, May 9, at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penns Landing, 201 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA, 19106. The undergraduate ceremony for 55 students will begin at 9:30 AM, and the graduate ceremony for 61 students will begin at noon, and both will be livestreamed.
The procession for each hour-long ceremony begins 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Tickets are required for guests three years of age and older. All ceremonies will be livestreamed.
* Combined with the number of graduates from the University’s fall commencement last December, WCU has graduated a total of 4,692 students (both undergraduate and graduate) for the academic year 2025-2026: 3,548 undergraduates and 1,144 graduates.

Tickets are required for all ceremonies. All ceremonies will be live-streamed for those who do not have a ticket or who are unable to attend. Recordings of all ceremonies will be available here.
Graduating students and their guests are strongly encouraged to park in the garages on New and Sharpless streets, which will be free during the ceremonies.
