Lamb McErlane PC Chairman and Managing Partner Joel L. Frank has been reelected for a three-year term to the Boards of Directors of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. and Mid-Penn Bank. Mid Penn Bancorp Inc., headquartered in Harrisburg, is the parent company of Mid Penn Bank, a full-service commercial bank, and MPB Financial Services, LLC, a provider of specialized investment strategies, insurance, and planning services to individuals, families, and businesses.
In addition to his Board role, Frank chairs the Nominations and Governance Committee and serves on the Executive Committee and Compensation Committee of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc.
At Lamb McErlane, Frank concentrates his practice in a wide variety of commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts, as well as ethical and professional responsibility matters, including attorney and judicial discipline.
In addition to his legal practice, Frank has long been engaged in service and commitment to numerous philanthropic and business organizations, including the National Board of Directors for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia (Philadelphia Zoo).
For thirteen years, he has served as Commissioner on the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission. In 2025, Frank was appointed to the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Satell Institute, a non-profit dedicated to corporate social responsibility. Frank was appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Court’s Investment Advisory Board and serves on the Board of Directors of Broad and Liberty.
