What began as a week of football excitement in Pittsburgh turned into something far more meaningful. Through two high-energy, draft-themed events, S&T Bank transformed community enthusiasm into impact — raising $50,000 to support Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. and the thousands of veterans and families they serve across the state.
The events brought together customers, community members, and partners, and featured appearances by past and present football greats while advancing the Bank’s commitment to supporting those who have served. All proceeds directly benefit PAWW’s mission to provide emergency financial assistance and critical resources to veterans and their families across Pennsylvania.
This contribution reflects S&T Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting military members, veterans, and their
families. In addition to financial support, the Bank invests time and resources in organizations serving the veteran
community and has established its Stars and Stripes Employee Resource Group, which includes more than 70 team
members dedicated to supporting active-duty service members and veterans through outreach and mentorship.
“At S&T Bank, making people our purpose means showing up for those who have sacrificed so much for our
country,” said Chris McComish, Chief Executive Officer at S&T Bank. “While the draft brought incredible excitement
and energy to Pittsburgh, what makes events like these truly worthwhile is the opportunity to give back. We are
honored to support Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors and help ensure veterans and their families have the resources
they deserve.”
Supporting military members is central to S&T Banks’s people-forward purpose, brought to life through community
partnerships, colleague engagement, and programs designed to serve active-duty service members and veterans.
“On behalf of Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to S&T Bank and
iHeartRadio for this generous donation,” said Helen Sajer, Founder and Chairwoman of Pennsylvania Wounded
Warriors, Inc. “As an all-volunteer organization, partnerships like these enable us to support more than 227,000
veterans across the Keystone State. We are truly grateful for this support.”
Through initiatives like these, S&T Bank continues to invest in people, support the U.S. military, and make a
meaningful difference across the communities it serves.
