Virtual Interviews
Freedom Village at Brandywine is conducting virtual interviews for three positions on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 12 PM to 4 PM. Interviews are conducted via video or phone.
Virtual interviews help employers connect with job seekers when they are not in the same physical location.
The interviews will focus on three available positions.
Caregiver. Freedom Village is hiring multiple full-time and part-time caregiver positions on all shifts for its Personal Care Home. Pay rate starts at $16/hour with shift differential for nights, evenings, and weekends.
There is a $500 sign-on bonus.
Licensed Practical Nurse. Freedom Village is hiring for one part-time LPN, 2-10:30 PM, and one full-time LPN, 10 PM-6:30 AM. This role is eligible for a shift differential of $1.25 for evenings during the week and $2.50 on the weekends. Salary is starting at $30/hour.
There is a sign-on bonus of $500 for full-time night shift.
This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Resident Caregivers for our Personal Care Home/Assisted Living.
Medication Technician. Freedom Village is seeking certified medication technicians on all three shifts for assisted living and memory care residents. DHS certification is required.
This position starts at $18/hour on all shifts, with shift differential for Evenings, Nights, and Weekends.

Personal Care Home Administrator
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Personal Care Home Administrator to join its team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing a wide and varied scope of activities and programming that meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental needs of the residents.
The Personal Care Home Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of Personal Care.
Responsibilities of this position:
- Supervise the Memory Care Manager, Scheduler, Health and Wellness Director, and Sales.
- Oversee all Operations for all of Personal Care.
- Participate in the integration of and ongoing training of the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care program at the community level in tandem with Memory Care.
- Maintain medical charting and required documentation under the scope of state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
- Serve as the department representative and coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services.
- Labor budgeting with guidance from the business office.
- Lead daily stand-up as the administrator.
Qualifications of this position:
- Hold a valid Personal Care Home Administrator’s license in PA (Required).
- Have knowledge in all areas of the local Health Department, OSHA, and other state regulatory agencies relevant to healthcare services.
- Have good communication skills (oral and written).
- Have familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- LPN or RN (Required).

Lead Chef
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Cook to join its team. This position is responsible for full-scope, hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department. The Lead Chef is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Lead Cook:
- Support daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff, assisting with shift change walk-throughs, coordinating evening paperwork, and posting next-day production schedules; serve as kitchen lead in the absence of the Executive Chef.
- Ensure food quality, safety, and presentation by monitoring proper labeling, portioning, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with Health Department standards.
- Assist with menu planning and execution, including specials, theme buffets, holiday menus, catered events, food orders, and production sheets.
- Supervise utility staff and support daily and special cleaning projects while using time, materials, and equipment efficiently to minimize waste.
- Promote excellent customer satisfaction for residents and guests while fostering teamwork, professionalism, and positive working relationships; communicate operational updates and improvement recommendations to the Executive Chef.
Qualifications for this position:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions.
- Two to three years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred.
- Culinary education and supervisory background desirable.
- Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance. Some knowledge of nutrition and diet. Health Care experience is desirable.
